Your team has enough to worry about, so please let our team do the grunt work for you. You'll not only get a group of experienced technicians ready to help with your relocation, but a designated project manager as well. Our project manager will talk to you extensively to not only save you stress down the road, but to keep you updated on the jobsite as well. Our team's goal is not only to successfully relocate your I.T. equipment, but also to make this transition an enjoyable experience for you. Heck, you're moving offices or even freshening up your current office. The last thing you want to be is unhappy.
To make your office dreams a reality, we'll have our technicians start well ahead of the moving personnel. This way they'll will be able to load the equipment, stage it, and have it ready to transport without any delay from our personnel. From there our technicians will fill out a move configuration sheet and place it with each system that's moving. Once the proper paper work and diagrams are written up, our team will then safely disconnect the system and use our Technical Source moving bags, to bag up the equipment. Our team will also make sure everything is properly labelled (to ensure the equipment arrives at the proper location. Our technicians will continue this process to each and every desk. To lead our team down the right paths, we'll have a team lead, in front of the technicians, making sure that everything that's supposed to be relocated is, and that the team is meeting our standards. Behind the team will be our Project Manager who will have a master list of every system that's moving. They'll take detailed notes on everything that's relocating, and let you know if any issues arise (i.e locked docks, cables stuck behind bulky furniture, and so on). At this stage of the move, the movers will be following behind our project manager. The movers will stage the computer equipment to the elevators. Once the freight elevators can be used, the movers will relocate the equipment to the new destination.
For the reconnect side of things we can assure you that we will have enough technicians on-site to perform the reconnect in an orderly and efficient manner and be well within the reconnect deadline. Our staff will first verify that the equipment has been delivered to the correct location, by double checking sticker and placard. From there, depending on the scope of work, our team will mount monitors, deploy new equipment, and begin to reconnect any equipment that was relocated. Our technicians will take detailed notes on our moving sheet, where they'll make any notations on missing equipment, or connectivity issues. The technicians will also make sure to cable manage every system! Because in order to make your office space as fantastic as it should be, the last thing you want to see is a bundle of cables on the ground. With a little bit of our purple magic, we'll make everything as beautiful as it should be. And with every move, our project managers, will be there to make down any issues that may arise, to keep you and your team informed. We understand how important it is to you that your computers are up and running when your staff arrives for work on Monday. In the event, however, that a machine does not come up after a standard reconnect the technicians will search out a Sr. Technician or Team leader from our personnel to assist them with the machine. If the issue persists, the Sr. Tech/Team Leader will locate the project manager. They will locate the coordinator from the I.T. team. They will discuss with the I.T. coordinator how you would like us to proceed. As described in the Qualification section, we have a sufficient number of qualified personnel to handle any problem determination and troubleshooting issues that may occur.

On move day, the disconnect technicians will make detailed descriptions and notes of the equipment configurations before any disconnect begins. There will be a team of technicians unplugging and unracking the servers. They will unrack the server, rails and place them both, with any cabling that came from that server onto a cart. From there a team of technicians, will bubble wrap the equipment and properly label it all so that the server, racks, and all the necessary parts remain together and transport safely. From there our project manager will take detailed notes on which servers are in which speed packs, and what equipment went with each server.
From that point the same team of disconnect technicians will be utilized for the reconnect portion of the server move. Our team will safely unpack all speed packs, and layout where the equipment needs to go. The project manager will inventory all the equipment to make sure it all properly arrived and then our team will reconnect your servers! New equipment is always exciting! It not only boosts the morale of your team, but productivity as well! To keep your team from stressing out over deploying and installing the new equipment, all you need to do, is call on our Purple People. Technical Source can come in on any given day, safely and efficiently unbox all of your new equipment, deploy the equipment to the proper locations, install and mount all the I.T., and then lastly cable manage everything for you! With new I.T. you want to keep it looking good, and the last thing you need is messy, unorganized cables on the desk and underneath the desk. Then as the cherry on top of it all, our team will test the equipment to make sure the user experiences nothing but perfection.
Therefore, if your company is getting brand new equipment or reusing old equipment, our team would be happy to jump in and make the process easier for you. We’ll install everything the way that the client likes it, so that your team can focus on evacuating the old equipment and moving in the new equipment. Post move support, allows your team to step on the right foot come day one. We will take our direction, as well as the burden of this chore, from your I staff. Our technicians can also be directed to specific locations by your help desk when assistance is necessary. Based on the size of your moves we would suggest 1 technician(s) “floating” in your facility for 4 hours on day one after your move.
This is an optional service provided by Technical Source. As a rule, Technical Source technicians “float” through your floors looking for people to assist. Our technicians wear our purple signature shirts and are easy to spot. This is very beneficial when you have a large amount of staff and/or laptops coming into the office on Monday morning as well as new printer locations. We will take our direction, as well as the burden of this chore, from your I.T. staff. Our technicians can also be directed to specific locations by your help desk when assistance is necessary. Based on the size of your moves we would suggest 3 technician(s) “floating” in your facility for 4 hours on the Monday after your move; or in this day and age, when the users are returning to the office.

It’s really important with COVID-19 going on that we try to get rid of as many germs as possible. As we all know, keyboards and mice are germ city, so in order to keep your staff safe, we’d love to come in and clean all of the I.T. for you to make your move as great as it can be!
Our team can, at the time of your move, clean your systems for you. We will vacuum the front and back of PC’s to remove all the “dust bunnies” inside the system. The technicians tap the keyboard the remove excess debris and use a paint brush canned air to spray it out. They will use wipes to clean mouse, keyboard, pc/docking station, printer, back and sides of monitors and stands/arms, and wipe off the top of the desk. They will use glass cleaner to wipe monitor screens.
